Kordsa's Composite Technologies Center for Excellence, which has been created in collaboration with Sabancı University in an effort to bring together R&D and innovation practices in composite technologies under a single roof, is now officially registered as an R&D Center, meaning that Kordsa now has two officially-approved R&D centers. Kordsa's other approved R&D center, located in Izmit, is seen as an R&D and innovation hub for the global and Turkish market in tire reinforcement and construction reinforcement technologies.

As one of the leading development centers in the world, the Composite Technologies Center for Excellence provides an environment in which basic research, practical applied research, technology development, product development, entrepreneurship, and production processes can all be carried out under the same roof. With the Composite Technologies Center for Excellence, Kordsa is serving its stakeholders in all the phases of the R&D cycle, starting from basic research, coninuing with prototype production and ending in mass production, according to customer requirements.
