Kordsa renovates another school in an effort to reinforce the future

Kordsa, committedly continues to carry out corporate social responsibility projects in line with its “We Reinforce Life” vision. In this regard, Kordsa once more made a contribution to reinforce the future of the children in İzmit, the town in which Kordsa’s story started 45 years ago. 250 volunteers from Kordsa sites around the world renovated a primary and secondary school in İzmit, Kocaeli.

Kordsa, the global player of tire, construction reinforcement and composites technologies market, once more reinforced children’s future by renovating a school in İzmit. Over the past years, Kordsa's Reinforcers have renovated 3 different schools in the same area. Every year, Kordsa renovates a school from the heating system to the painting of the walls, and from desks to the educational equipment. 

This year, Kordsa, while rebuilding the cafeterias and libraries of both primary and secondary schools, established a laboratory for children to study science for the secondary school. New classroom furniture such as closets and desks were provided as well. Kordsa also established a playground in the garden to create a safe and pleasant environment where students can play and relax. 250 volunteers from Kordsa sites from 4 continents around the world participated in the renovation project. With each corporate social project, Kordsa aims to reinforce the people and the society in the geographies it operates.

Indo Kordsa Comes Together with Students at National Career Fair

Indo Kordsa participated in the National Career Fair organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Labor. During the fair, Kordsa Reinforcers came together with high school and university students and informed the participants about the tire reinforcement sector and business opportunities at Kordsa.

Kordsa Chattanooga Receives ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System Certificate

Kordsa successfully completed the environmental management system audits at its tire reinforcement facilities in Chattanooga and received ISO 14001: 2015 certification. The environmental management system certification includes commitments related to the efficient use of energy and natural resources, conservation of biodiversity, and the fight against climate change.
